Wireless - well maybe
At Jax2002 they had wireless Internet access (which is pretty new for German conferences). The lower floor of the hotel and the 6th floor had WLAN access. Well nearly. Trouble was that it didn't work in all the rooms on the respective floors. So in one case we had to move to a room where the WLAN did work - which seems pretty funny really - considering the goal is supposed to be access from anywhere. I was going to take my iBook and then blog the sessions - but I didn't think they would have wireless access. And my PC does not have a WLAN card. Not yet anyway.
