WLAN in Germany

WLAN is coming: Wireless LAN will be the hype of 2003 in Germany. These last few days of 2002 see a flurry of announcements on hot-spots being set up. The German railway (Deutsche Bahn) is setting up hot-spots in certain stations (but only for first-class customers at the moment). This article on Heise also describes how the cities of Hamburg and Wiesbaden are ramping up WLAN activity.
