Blogging can get you fired
This blog entry was the reason Michael got fired. And to be honest I can even understand Microsoft in part for their reaction. No company would want you blogging "sensitive" stuff like that. At the same time it is an easy line to cross - especially if the company you're working for doesn't have a weblog policy.

Well that's just sick. Being fired for making a picture and telling where you work. A new reason not to buy any MS products for me :-)

Right... another reason to not buy MS software. Apple or any other tech company would have terminated him just as fast.
He stated which building was shipping and receiving for crying out loud! He could have just said "Hey, Microsoft got some new G5 machines" and he would have been perfectly fine.
When you are a temp you have to sign a contract to work. When you violate a section of that contract that calls for immediate termination, what do you think the company is going to do? Let you promise not to do it again? Wrong, they fire you!
