The Great Beyond
I took my daughter (7) to school this morning and we listened to REM all the way - and she enjoyed it. I had to repeat-play this particular tune. Real music. So there is still hope. I'm keeping flowers in full bloom.

7 indeed seems the age where kids can come to possible musical wisdom. I have my oldest boy asking me to tune up the radio when playing contemporary independent pop music like Daan's "Swedish Designer Drugs" or anything from Air and Röyksopp - quite sophisticated music compared to what I would have been listening to at that age.
