Apple Mail - tell me please!
Something just struck me as I checked my dock where the Apple Mail symbol was showing an arrived email in the red starred circle symbol -
Wouldn't it be neat if you could tell from that star whether the email was important or not. At the moment you can't tell just by looking at the symbol what sort of email is waiting for you and therefore need to maximize Mail to look.
So if I could define a filter that would say change the color of the star to <insert defined color> if an email from a particular address/person arrives - so red could be default and then if at least one email from my mum is waiting the color would turn to green. And why is the color of that star red anyway? It could even color segments of the symbol if I had several filters... (I'm getting carried away).
Or is there something around that will let me do that already?
Later: Rich points me to Dockstar
